frameworks/standards are adopted. (This would be a school site mandate.)
- B) Identify recommended integrated technology systems to be available at sites. (See
models in the addendum.)
- C) Establish a plan for the maintenance, repair, replacement, up-grading, and
up-dating of technology equipment.
- D) Establish interface compatibility guidelines for the selection and acquisition of
technology.
Classroom and Library/Media Center Models
- E) Provide each classroom teacher with a multi-media-capable workstation, which would
include a computer, printer, overhead projector, laserdisc player, TV and VCR and monitor.
- F) Provide presentation technology equipment to each library/media center to include the
above, with the additional of a liquid crystal display unit. (LCD)

which may include electronic catalog, CD ROM resources, and Internet access.
- I) Provide capacity for technology in the design of new facilities
- J) Provide each administrative area with copiers, networked computers, printers, and
fax machines
- K) Provide adequate telecommunications capacities at each site
- L) Establish a process to evaluate and select
software for administrative use which facilitates the exchange of information among all
sites.
Prepare all district graduates technologically for the twenty-first century.
